Hujjat al-Islam Noruzi

"I used to have an old camera by which I shoot photos of nature scenes in my home village; after I moved to Qazvin province, Iran, I started taking photos of Seminary schools and students. I also had some professional photographer friends who would admire my photos and encourage me to keep doing what I did," said Hujjat al-Islam Noruzi.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Hujjat al-Islam Davood Noruzi is a seminary cleric in Qazvin province, Iran; he is currently working as a professional photographer as well as a blogger. He began his seminary courses back in his teenage years and now in his forties, he's serving as a Prayer leader at a local mosque. The cleric also has some gardening skills as he helps his father on his farm in their home village.

 

Hujjat al-Islam Noruzi referred to his photography and gardening activities saying," When I was young, I used to have an old camera by which I used to shoot photos of nature scenes in my home village; after I moved to Qazvin province, Iran, I started taking photos of Seminary schools and students. I also had some professional photographer friends who would admire my photos and encourage me to keep doing what I did, later I started a weblog on which I posted my photo shoots for public display."

 

Speaking on his weblogs, the cleric further added, "About three years ago, I started my own weblog to post the photos of my home village; in that web log I published the related news and articles as well. I also have another personal blog on which I write my religious articles and discuss Islamic issues, for instance, during the month of Muharram, I publish some information relating to the Ashura movement and Imam Husayn (as)."

 

"Whenever possible, I would go to my village to help my father on his farm; as a child, it's my duty to help my father in watering the farm, picking the crops and generally take care of the garden." Noruzi concluded.
